DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Our design depart­ment pro­vides engi­neer­ing and man­u­fac­ture of die cast­ing tools, molds and fix­tures for the pro­duc­tion and machin­ing of alu­minum cast­ings. We, the Angstrom Voss team, are pas­sion­ate about work­ing with you to ensure that your require­ments are being met pre­cise­ly, on time and flawlessly.

For iden­ti­fy­ing spe­cif­ic chal­lenges in the cast­ing process at an ear­ly stage, we con­sis­tent­ly use the find­ings of cast­ing and solid­i­fi­ca­tion sim­u­la­tions in coor­di­na­tion with the customer.

The inte­grat­ed process chain from the imple­men­ta­tion of prod­uct fea­tures and require­ments spec­i­fied inter­nal­ly or by the cus­tomer to the opti­mal­ly designed and pre­cise­ly machined tool is the basis for reli­able series production.

From CAD/­CAM-sup­port­ed engi­neer­ing and pro­duc­tion of die cast­ing tools, molds and fix­tures to advance qual­i­ty plan­ning (APQP), we leave noth­ing to chance and sup­port you with our know-how from the first con­tact through series production.

PROTOTYPES AND PRE-SERIES

We pro­vide pro­to­types and sam­ple parts by sand cast­ing or by means of mod­ern addi­tive man­u­fac­tur­ing process­es (“3D print­ing”). In this way, we enable tan­gi­ble results and ini­tial stress tests under real con­di­tions at the ear­li­est pos­si­ble stage.

Zero Defect Target

Con­tin­u­ous improve­ment of our process­es and well-found­ed appren­tice, edu­ca­tion and train­ing of our employ­ees at equal pri­or­i­ty enable us to pro­duce for you on a con­sis­tent­ly high qual­i­ty lev­el. All mea­sures and reg­u­la­tions are focused on the “zero defect tar­get” based on the prin­ci­ple of fail­ure prevention.

Our man­age­ment sys­tem meets the require­ments of the DIN ISO 9001:2015 stan­dard and is of course con­tin­u­ous­ly cer­ti­fied and opti­mized by inter­nal and exter­nal audits.

The effec­tive com­bat­ing of fail­ure caus­es is the pre­req­ui­site for the reli­ably high, con­sis­tent qual­i­ty of the prod­ucts and process­es in our alu­minum cast­ing enterprise.

Since we pro­vide the pri­ma­ry mold­ing process­es of high pres­sure die cast­ing and grav­i­ty die cast­ing in one hand, we can offer you the com­plete scope from small to large series vol­umes at prod­uct weights rang­ing from 0.03 kg to 8 kg.
